I knew that giving birth would be an intense and intimate experience, and I wanted a doula that I could trust to be fully present with me in my most vulnerable moments. I found this in Elisha. Not only did I feel completely comfortable expressing myself to her, but she really took the time to listen to the heart of me and what I desired for this birth. My labor/delivery ended up being a 22 hour marathon, and the battle of my lifetime (to say the least). Elisha was there with me through it all. Although my memory of the birth itself is a bit blurry, I can clearly recall Elisha’s loving presence by my side, providing me with non-stop counter pressure during contractions, massage, sips of water, essential oils and much needed encouragement. To put it simply, Elisha was wherever I needed her to be in any given moment, INTUITIVELY, and I can’t imagine my birth story without her. She was a gift to me before, during, and after the birth of my son. Thank you, Elisha, for helping me to bring my first baby into this world!!!

Elisha’s compassion, empathy, and commitment to fulfilling the vision of what we wanted our birth story to be was evident in the first several minutes of our initial meeting. With her follow up visits, Elisha made sure to get to know us as people so that her approach matched our desire for the space.When the day came, Elisha was beyond prepared, offering her support through constant physical touch to assist with relieving pressure, words of affirmation to keep spirits up, and managing to capture photos that we will cherish forever. Her stamina was incredible, not leaving our side for the entirety of our stay at the birth center, an incredible fifteen and a half hours. Even the attending midwives commented on her devotion to our care.I cannot imagine what this experience would have been for us without Elisha, and I strongly recommend her services for all parents on this journey.

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE ELISHA!! I went into labor during a massive snow storm and it did not stop her. She was determined to make it and I’m so thankful that she did. My birth didn’t go as planned but I went into my C-Section feeling so empowered, informed, and confident that it was the best decisions for me and my baby due to the circumstances. She was an amazing advocate for us, and the support I truly needed during my delivery. Because of her I believe I did not have a traumatic birth and I left the hospital loving my body and the amazing things it did to bring my beautiful baby into this world. From the moment we met her we felt like we’ve known her for a lifetime, she was so warm and comforting I instantly knew we would be in great hands and have an amazing support system in her. She’s also an amazing photographer! I can’t recommend her enough!!

Working with Elisha was magical! Having the support of a doula is so much more than just the physical support during labor. Elisha was with me throughout my entire pregnancy and birth journey. After struggling through 4 losses I was vulnerable in my pregnancy and needed emotional support and guidance. I decided to find a doula and after chatting with Elisha for almost 2 hours I feel in love with her energy. She was so open and supportive right away and during my entire pregnancy we chatted when I needed to and got together to prepare for the labor and birth. Elisha practiced positioning with me, she offered massage/counter pressure/rebozo sifting and pressure release. During my labor she was the feminine support I needed. She was there as soon as I called her, she helped me in every way I needed and even took pictures! I highly recommend reaching out to Elisha if you are pregnant. Having a doula at your birth makes all the difference in the world.

Elisha was wonderful! She helped both me and my partner feel safe and supported before, during and after birth. I gave birth in January and Elisha was there every step of the way. Her intuition and guidance truly helped me to feel the strength I had within myself, and to trust myself and my intuition as well. I highly recommend Elisha for any part of your birth journey.

Elisha was a great support for my family during our first few months with our son. She did overnights for us and really made us feel comfortable sleeping while she cared for the well being of our child. Her job is very demanding as a postpartum doula and specialist and we appreciate everything she has done for our family!

Elisha was our doula for the birth of our son in November of 2022.
She was what we called our ‘bonus’ doula. We had hired another doula who ended up being occupied at another birth at the same time we were birthing. Once we needed support, Elisha was ‘sent’ to us. She provided phenomenal support without ever having met or interacted with us.
I was a “high risk” pregnancy due to a preexisting condition. As such, they induced me at 39 weeks and the induction took 3 days. Elisha arrived in the afternoon on day #2 and didn’t miss a beat. I distinctly remember at one point during my labor, I became hyperfixated on my numbers and graphs (as I waited 4 hrs for my epidural!). Elisha reminded me to focus on myself and my body and to continue to breathe. She was within arms reach providing reassuring words, a gentle massage (& TENS unit!), and amazing support through both her knowledge and presence for an entire 24hours with us!
And if that wasn’t enough— Elisha’s photography skills are amazing. She captured SO many emotions in our birthing photos. I love that we have them to look back on and to show our baby. Having photos to look at was also a huge part of me processing our birthing story. They are honestly something I will cherish for the rest of my life…
My husband and I didn’t have family nearby that could be additional support for us in labor and this was our first child. Elisha was such an integral part of our birthing story and our support system through it. A year out, and I still text her updates on our little one, and she still asks how our babe is doing.
